I'm looking for a reliable pump shotgun to take out with my son for duck hunting. I am looking into a Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870 but it seems like the 870's have gone down in quality and there are a lot of variations of the 500. I don't know what to pick. Maybe there is a better option out there? Trying to stay under $500 but willing to go more if the price is justified. Give me all of your opinions and advice!
