Arkansas lawmakers have just referred a new constitutional amendment to the 2026 ballot that would further protect our right to keep and bear arms.
This amendment would make it crystal clear that:
Firearms, ammo, accessories, and components are protected “without limitation.”
Lawful purposes like hunting, recreation, and — most importantly — self-defense are guaranteed under Arkansas law.
This is another big step in keeping Arkansas a true 2A state.
