Marlin 1895 Trapper .45-70 Gov’t

Up for sale is a new in box Marlin 1895 Trapper in .45-70 Gov’t. 16.17 inch threaded barrel, 5+1 capacity. This is the Ruger made version and it’s a tank.

Back story on this one. I grabbed it with every intention of setting it up as my camp and bear country gun. Ordered the can, had the ammo stocked up, the whole plan was in motion. Then life and work got in the way and it never even made it to the range. It’s been sitting in the box ever since. Figured someone else should actually get some use out of it.

16 inch threaded barrel means you can throw a suppressor on it and it handles like a dream. Ammo storage in the stock is a nice touch too. These Trappers don’t sit around long.

New in box. Never fired.

Asking $830.
